This is our second attempt at rice cereal. Me thinks he likes it. Charlie grabbed my hand and wouldn't let it go. Look at that face when I ran out. I had to run and make a bottle ASAP before he got too upset.

Here is my darling little Alexandra. She's 10 going on 16 with the big teenager attitude to follow. She really is a great kid, especially when things go her way. This is a book report project that she did last week. I helped cut out the castle, but she created the design and did all the work to put it together. Look how proud she is. THIS IS A DEFINITE A+++++.

Here she is, our "baby girl." How beautiful does she look? She made everyone so very proud today. She loves her new gloves that Mamie gave her. She couldn't wear them for the actual ceremony, but afterwards, she slipped them on and took a couple of really sweet pictures praying to God! She looks like an angel.
We had all the family out to watch her take her first communion. She was a little nervous, but did a great job. She was too afraid to answer any questions that Father Mike gave the children, but you could tell she wanted to say something. After the ceremony, we came back to the house and had a lot of yummy pizza, sandwiches and cake. It was a wonderful day. Thanks to the family for coming out and being with us on this special day.

GO PADRES!!!!!!
Here we have Junior and his T-Ball team, the Padres, playing his old team, THE RED SOX. He looks like a natural doesn't he!?!?!? He really loves baseball. It gives him time to hang with the boys and have lots of fun. He actually hits from either side of the base, but is a lefty. Look at him leap to home. He was actually trotting like a horse. ARGHHHH, I don't know what I am gonna do with this comedian. The more he acts cute like this, the happy the crowd gets, and unfortunately it encourages his craziness. What a ham!

Look at that smile. Here is Charlie with his first time eating rice cereal. How funny is he??? He still has not decided if he likes it. Like most babies, he ended up with more on him then in him. But, it was fun trying. Now we have to wait and see if he will blow the bubbles with a mouth full, hopefully he will save that one for Daddy.

On Sunday the ladies gathered for the annual Girl Scout Tea. Alex is a Junior and Rachel a Brownie. At the tea we enjoyed some crafts, and a few long games of bingo. We all know how much Nana loves bingo. My girls got to show off a few generations of ladies here. They had me--their Mommy, their Mamie, my Mommy, and their Nana, my Mommies Mommy. And we added a couple of generations of Aunts with Aunt Raah Raah and Aunt Mary Am. It was a nice time just to ourselves to be girls.

THE BIG BOY

BIG NEWS!!! Charlie held his bottle today.....and for the entire feeding. ALL BY HIMSELF. What a little man. I was able to take a cute snap shot of him. He's such a poser. I am starting to feel sad because he really is growing so fast. He is 4 months today. It just seems like yesterday that he came into our lives.
